If you can't get Starter working again, you could try opening the files with Google Docs or one of the other free alternatives to Word. Now I know you are going to think me stupid How do I get my docs on there and how to I upload to a job site? However it still doesn't address the new problem as to why when I go to control panel to repair starter it tells me I have to be connected to the internet.
